Realistic Times and Rates – Update
MTA NSW has been busily promoting the move away from Funny Time Funny Money to Realistic Times and Rates. This has been done currently through joint information sessions with IAG.
These meetings have taken place from Wollongong through to Coffs Harbour, including Sydney, Central Coast, Maitland and Newcastle.
MTA NSW will also hold information sessions for Repairers concerned about the transition from FTFM to Realistic Times and Rates.
The MTA NSW’s Realistic Industry Times Manual has been successfully uploaded into the Auto Quote Quoting package and is nearing the end of the testing phase. We have also been actively promoting the MTA NSW’s Realistic Times manual with all the Quote Software Vendors, such as Flexi quote and PPG to assist all Repairers in their conversion from Funny Time Funny Money to Realistic Industry Times and Rates.

MTA NSW has commenced discussions with all major Insurers in Australia on the implementation across Australia of Realistic Times and Rates.
Auto Parts Recycling Industry - Update
New South Wales is hosting the national APRAA Conference and Trade Show this year in Coffs Harbour. The Conference will run from Thursday 6th November to Saturday 8th November 2008 and will include several industry speakers plus exciting social functions. Tow Truck - Update
The Public draft regarding the proposed changes to the Tow Truck legislation has been submitted on behalf of the Tow Truck Industry and the MTA is keeping in contact with the RTA in its progress. |
