| A guaranteed way to increase your used car sales! As you are all by now aware, MTA NSW has set up an independent pre purchase vehicle inspection service, using MTA members as inspectors. Our concern was that more people are buying cars on line from private sellers, biting into our dealers market therefore we needed to help push sales back to dealers. I believe PPI is starting to achieve this goal by steering potential buyers to dealers for peace of mind purchases. |

Many members have said that it has been a reasonable start to 2009 in particular the repair segment and used vehicle sales between $3K and $5K.
This is a promising start and may indicate that the Australian economy will not be as hard hit as some of the international economies. |

The Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct clearly outlines the Insurer’s role and responsibility. |
