Commonwealth Bank have recently been advised by Visa and MasterCard of an increase in the scheme fees they charge. As a consequence, the Bank is making a pricing adjustment to your special Group Negotiated Merchant Service Fee.
The changes at a glance
Effective from 1 September 2009:
» There will be an increase to the Merchant Service Fee of 0.03% including GST (Visa and MasterCard transactions only)
» All other fees and charges remain unchanged.
You will see the new charges reflected from your September Merchant Statement onwards.
New credit card transaction fees:
effective 1st August for new customers;
effective 1st September for existing customers.
