Ross Nicastri lives in Australia, but he's well known in the American auto recycling community. He's a regular attendee at ARA, URG and IT functions, and this year Ross had a larger presence than ever. It's because of the "Recycler Swap," an innovative program which trades employees temporarily to gather and share ideas about how auto recyclers do business around the Globe.
This swap was initiated by Ross and suggested to Sandy Blalock, ARA's immediate past president and owner of Capo's Truck and Auto Parts, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M. Blalock sent her son, Robert Capo, to live and work in Australia at Nicastri's business, Frank's Auto Parts in New South Wales. In return, Ross sent his employee Logan Green to her business.
