Tax break - use of an asset merely for the purposes of reasonable testing or trialling. Members may be aware of a level of ambiguity existing in the market in relation to demonstrator vehicles and their interpretation as such by the the ATO for the purpose of eligibility for the Capital Allowances Tax Break measure.
 
Theft Watch
50,500 thefts set new record low. A seventh consecutive quarterly reduction and another 10 per cent fall from the previous 12 months has brought the nation’s passenger/light commercial (PLC) vehicle thefts to just over 50,500.
