MTA is conducting briefings for members at various locations across New South Wales. New laws on unfair dismissal, transfer of business and workplace agreements came into effect for corporations from 1 July, 2009. New National Employment Standards and the new modern award for the vehicle industry will commence from 1 January 2010.
Sydney briefings will have concluded by the time members read this however the majority of regional briefings are yet to be conducted.
