| The switch from Rosehill to Randwick enabled MTA to host it biggest and best Race meeting ever.
Our Races included the following:
» Warwick Stakes
» Up and Coming Show Stakes
» Silver Shadow Stakes
» Show County Quality Handicap
» Toy Show Quality Handicap
MTA had naming rights of the Warwick Stakes and how fitting that the horse ‘Trusting’ was the winner.
With a spectacular view of the entire race course MTA guests enjoyed an abundance of excellent food and wine.
This year MTA’s annual Fashions in the Field were won by the very impressive and stylish Joanne Wiggins from Precision Body Repairs, though all ladies on the day looked fantastic in their racing attire. Judging of the event was made by all MTA guests on the day.
MTA raised over $500 in a silent auction for the Sir Roden Cutler Foundation.
The day provided plenty of promotion to the general public and with the MTA signage across the racetrack and at the finish post every member of the MTA who displays the MTA logo received invaluable promotion and press coverage.
Given that racing is a national sport this coverage would no doubt have gone across the country. Having said that it is the local coverage that matters and regardless of where you were, either at the track, at your local or sitting at home watching the races on the telly you would have seen the MTA logo throughout the day.
MTA would like to thank our 2009 Race Sponsors:
