The Australian Automotive Industry Association [AAIA] consists of MTA NSW, Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce [VACC], Tasmanian Automobile Chamber of Commerce and MTA Queensland, has made detailed submissions, on behalf of the motor industry, to each of the major political parties contesting the 2010 Federal Elections.
While the election will be determined for this Journal is distributed it is important for members to know what each party has promised, so they can be held to those promises that are beneficial to our industry.
Printed below are the responses we received from those parties. I some instances they have failed to address the issues we raised but have given us an epistle on the wide variety of issues that do not directly affect our industry.
