Ms Judge said the strength of the industry depended on the knowledge and professionalism of its members and the ability of consumers to access relevant information.
“The NSW Government is committed to supporting effective training in the motor vehicle industry that benefits the entire community,” she said.
Automotive Training Board NSW Executive Officer Debra Joyce said government support through the Motor Vehicle Industry Grants Program was helping alleviate multiple stresses on the automotive industry, including technology changes and skills development needs.
“The industry appreciates the ongoing support provided through this program and we look forward to continuing our long and healthy relationship with NSW Fair Trading,” she said. |
