The Australian Automotive Industry Association [AAIA] consists of MTA NSW, Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce [VACC], Tasmanian Automobile Chamber of Commerce and MTA Queensland, has made detailed submissions, on behalf of the motor industry, to each of the major political parties contesting the 2010 Federal Elections.

Each year MTA sponsors a race to create brand aware-ness for the Association. There is a lot of excitement to be found at horse racing tracks, besides horse racing itself, MTA is able to leverage the popularity of horse racing to actively promote the Association and its logo for consumer awareness as well as provide a fantastic corporate function for MTA members.

Fair Trading Minister Virginia Judge today announced $98,700 funding for three education and training projects for the motor vehicle industry. “The Motor Vehicle Industry Grants Program helps maintain skilled tradespeople, improve industry standards and provide better protection for consumers.”

It’s The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and this year’s gathering is set to be the best one yet.
