Some of these services within ERIS include the occupational health & safety management system, the company policy builder, annual leave and long service leave calculators.
The OHS management system includes automotive specific checklists and guidance material. The system will allow you to download a checklist to suit your business, amend it to directly accommodate your business if necessary, and save it as a favourite for further future use. After you have conducted a workplace audit you may enter your findings into the database with a timeline for rectification. If you have not completed the work and recorded this in the system, ERIS will send you an email reminding you of this activity to be done. When the audit is complete it will be saved within the database for future information (or evidence) as required. The system provides a number of “registers” to assist members with managing the OHS function and meeting compliance with the law. These include the injury register, plant maintenance register and hazardous substance register to name a few.
Employers having a comprehensive set of policies makes good business sense. Policies will reduce management time necessary to addressing such issues and support management when it is necessary to respond to such issues. The policy builder within ERIS offers members automotive specific policies that respond to your business needs. The policy builder allows members to select policies from various subjects such as OHS, leave and attendance, customer relations, vehicle usage, etc which is then transferred across to an editing page. At the editing page the user can then adjust or add to any of the policies and then save to company policy manual within ERIS for later use/access.
Working out annual leave or long service leave entitlements can be a bit daunting at the best of times. Calculators within ERIS allow you to quickly and effectively do this task. Once the calculation sheet appears it can be saved into ERIS for future recall as required. |
